1. The first pie chart illustrates an analysis of reasons for shopping online in the UK. Conversely, the second chart presents why people choose to visit stores in person. Overall, it seems that the majority of people who shop online value convenience and price. By contrast, those who visit stores in person value testing the products and receiving them immediately.

 

2. The highest percentage of those who shop online say that this is because it is very convenient, with 35%. The same amount of people also shop online because of lower prices. 20% of people shop online since they think there is a wider selection of products available. Similarly, 10% of people prefer to shop online as they can easily compare products.

 

3. In contrast to this, the greatest percentage of people who prefer to visit stores in person is 37%; they want to test the products. Furthermore, 28% say that they can receive products a lot faster than they can when shopping online. Finally, the two least popular reasons for visiting stores in person, with 19% and 16% respectively, are that people want to ask questions and get advice and that it is easier to return or exchange products compared with shopping online.
